Pineview Valley is one of Kamloops’ newest neighbourhoods, located just west of Abderdeen and south of the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1). It is nestled in a small valley and features quiet mountain living just minutes from the city core. Pineview Valley Park winds through the neighbourhood and includes Python Lake, a well stocked fishing oasis. Pineview is also close to Kenna Cartwright Park, with over 40 km of hiking and biking trails. Quick access to Lac Le Jeune Road provides further fishing and camping opportunities. Stake Lake Cross Country Ski Area is just 25 minutes away. The neighbourhood consists of single detached houses in addition to higher density townhomes and apartments. Ridgepoint is an independent seniors living facility also located in Pineview. Although there is no commercial area in this residential neighbourhood, Costco is just down the hill.
There are no schools in Pineview Valley. Elementary Students are typically bussed to Dufferin Elementary School.
High School students typically attend Sahali Secondary.
